Kevin McLaughlin has advised top elected officials and played critical roles in major political and legislative battles over the past 20 years. He served as executive director of the NRSC during the 2019-2020 cycle and previously worked for the RNC, in the United States Senate, and for a Presidential and multiple Senate campaigns. He is now president of the Common Sense Leadership Fund, a non-profit promoting conservative policies. A Minnesota native, Kevin began his career in broadcast journalism and has appeared on FOX News, MSNBC, and CNN, with commentary featured in outlets like The Washington Post and POLITICO.
Sara has been the driving force of some of the largest organizations and fights in Washington over the last decade. Drawing on her vast experiences at the NRSC, RNC, and dozens of campaigns, Diehr dives into every mission headfirst and – more often than not – ends up managing the entire operation. As NRSC COO in 2019-2020, Sara was responsible for day-to-day operations of the committee. She spearheaded the digital fundraising program which raised a record $150 million – 4x more than the previous cycle.
Cameron has helped to successfully elect hundreds of candidates at all levels of the government, built several of the most successful digital fundraising programs in political history, and has won over 40 industry awards for creative direction. His background includes graphic design, videography, public opinion research, direct mail, media planning, data management strategies and digital fundraising. Cameron is the Senior Digital Advisor to Majority Leader Steve Scalise.
Jen brings an extensive background in fundraising and online marketing spanning nearly 20 years. Her experience includes work for two presidential campaigns, dozens of U.S. Senate, congressional, and gubernatorial campaigns, political organizations, and nationally recognized nonprofits. She has been named a 'Rising Star' by Campaigns & Elections, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree from The George Washington University.

Prior to joining Apex, her career included working on Capitol Hill, a 2024 presidential race, and numerous U.S. House and Senate campaigns. A native Georgian, Brandon has an extensive political background including serving as an executive director of a state Republican Party, two presidential campaigns, and other races up and down the ballot. He also brings experience crafting legislative and public affairs strategies for corporations and associations. Brandon currently resides in Washington D.C. with his Goldendoodle, Aspen.
